Q. How do I buy a digital photograph?

A. Simple, just send photograph via upload, email or post, provide your email and home

    address and state clearly what you are requesting, plus the service required e.g.

    restoration, enhancement, special effects etc along with the level (see price list). We

    will email you a proof and if you are satisfied, pay via the website or send a

    cheque payable to DAB Photography, to the address below. Once

    payment is received you will be sent a 6” x 4” print (unless purchasing alternative).

Q: How do I buy a DVD copy of my home movies on VHS?

A: Send your VHS along with payment to the address below or pay via website and then send VHS

     tape. Once copied your VHS and a DVD copy will be sent to you.

Q: Can you make DVD copies of films I have bought on VHS?

A: No. Sorry these are covered by copyright law and cannot be reproduced.

Q: I only have a printed photograph, can I still use the service?

A: Yes, you can either scan the image into your computer and send it by upload or email or you can

     post it, along with your instructions, email address and home address to:

Q: Can I pay by cheque?

A: Yes, please make cheque payable to DAB Photography and send to address shown.

Q. Can you only work with prints?

A. No. We can work with negatives and slides as well. Please post to the address

    above, detailing your requirements.

Q: How do I send an image via email?

A: Log in to your e-mail as normal, create or compose a new e-mail addressed to

   dabphotography@yourphotorepairs.co.uk and use the Attach button, or paper-clip

   icon, to add your photos. Some email applications allow you to click directly on the email

    address shown here to start you off.

Q: How do I upload files via the website?

A: Go to the send photos/images page and fill in the form, upload the photos from you computer and

     then submit, the files are uploaded and you will receive a confirmation email that files have been

     uploaded

Q: How do I scan an image into my computer?

A: Please scan images at a minimum of 300 dpi, if the image is tiny, scan at 600 dpi, make sure your

     scanning glass is free from dust and marks. Check your photo is free from surface dust and hair. If

     in doubt send your original image by post.

Q. Should I send my image by ordinary post?

A. Obviously your images are precious to you and there is always a small element of risk when using

     postal services. To safeguard your photo protect it by placing it between two pieces of cardboard

     and ideally send by recorded delivery as at least then you can track your image. We cannot take

     responsibility for photos lost in the post. If posting VHS home movies the same principle applies.
